Note of caution: any boat can sink if you put it in bad enough conditions. However, given your standard boating experience, Grady White boats are known for being nearly impossible to sink. We always recommend safety first and knowing when it may be time to head back to port.

The last point is our key answer to the question of whether Grady White boats are unsinkable. All Grady-White boats have basic foam flotation and boats smaller than 20 feet have level flotation.
Grady’s SeaV2 Hull
These boats are considered some of the most renowned saltwater boats in the world, and part of that is Grady’s patented SeaV2 Hull. The SeaV2 Hull’s performance has been ranked #1 in each of the JD Power and Associates Marine Studies.
The key to its superior performance is the forward sections that offer a sharp “deep vee” cutting edge and the flatter aft section that provide stability.
The hull is a “continuous variable vee” that delivers a soft and stable ride, and unlike other brands, has no two places on the keel where the deadrise is the same.
The two strakes and the chine of the SeaV2 hull cut through water which delivers lift, stability, and a drier ride.
