Overview

The 2027 Robalo 266 Cayman is a 26-foot-6-inch bay boat built for Southwest Florida's shallow, fish-rich water. It's equally at home working the flats of Charlotte Harbor, running the backcountry of the Ten Thousand Islands, or anchoring up at a sandbar with the family. This new Cayman, stock number 6654, is available now at our Fort Myers location. It pairs serious fishing hardware with comfortable seating and a fiberglass hardtop for shade.

Its draft is 18 inches, which is the main reason a bay boat like this earns its keep here. Skinny water opens up around Pine Island Sound, the edges of Charlotte Harbor and the mangrove shorelines further south. You can get to fish that deeper-hulled boats can't reach. The Hydro Lift multi-angle hull is Kevlar reinforced and sits on a poured composite transom. With a 9-foot-4-inch beam (112 inches), the 266 Cayman has the room and stability to fish several anglers at once. At 5,900 lbs dry weight, it has the heft to feel settled when the Gulf gets choppy.

This Cayman is powered by a Yamaha XF450 XTO outboard rated at 450 horsepower, with digital electric steering and a hydraulic jack plate with water pressure indication. It's a new boat with zero engine hours. The 110-gallon fuel tank gives you room to run from the inshore grass flats out to nearshore structure and still make it home. Trim tabs with an indicator switch help you set the ride, and this unit adds the Lenco Pro Trim Tab System.

Fishability is where the 266 Cayman stands out. A 20-gallon insulated bow livewell with its own pump keeps bait lively. Twin 30-gallon aft livewell/fish boxes have dedicated pumps, LED lighting and a Plexiglass divider. A 45-gallon insulated fishbox forward on the starboard side handles the catch. Horizontal rod storage runs under each gunwale, and lockable rod storage sits beneath the bow seating. Removable tackle boxes live in the port coaming. The aft double-wide seat converts to a casting platform. A leaning post with four rod holders and a 50-liter cooler anchors the helm, and a raw water washdown with hose connector makes cleanup easy.

The Cayman is just as practical for days that aren't about fishing. U-shaped bow seating with removable cushions and backrests gives guests a comfortable place to settle in. Port and starboard dive swim platforms with a ladder make getting in and out of the water easy. Inside the console you'll find a porcelain toilet system with a 6.5-gallon holding tank, plus a fresh water shower fed by a 13.5-gallon freshwater tank. The standard premium sound system and wireless phone charging dock cover the creature comforts. This unit also carries the JL Audio sound system upgrade. The hull is Alloy Gray with a Harbor Gray interior, and the stain-resistant silicone cockpit fabric holds up to sun and salt.
