The 2027 Robalo R270 is a 27-foot center console built for anglers who want serious fishing capability and family-friendly comfort in one hull. The R270 is 27 feet 6 inches long with a 9-foot 6-inch beam. That gives you room to move around the cockpit and stable footing when you're working a fish, without becoming a handful at the dock. Its draft is 21 inches, which helps you reach productive water around Pine Island Sound, Charlotte Harbor and the backcountry edges of the Ten Thousand Islands. The Hydro Lift multi-angle hull is Kevlar reinforced and built on a full fiberglass structural system. It is designed for a stable ride at rest and an efficient one underway, which matters on a breezy afternoon crossing open water.

This center console is a fishing boat first. The aft cockpit has two insulated fish boxes at 53 gallons each. A 30-gallon port aft livewell and a 20-gallon bow livewell keep bait lively, and an aft-facing seat has a 20-gallon molded cooler or livewell underneath. Up front there are twin 25-gallon insulated bow fish boxes. There are ten stainless rod holders in the gunnels and six more on the transom wall, with horizontal rod storage under each gunwale. Cockpit coaming tackle storage with removable boxes keeps terminal tackle organized.

This particular R270 is configured to run and fish hard. It is powered by twin Yamaha F250 four-stroke outboards, each rated at 250 horsepower, with a 180-gallon fuel capacity for longer days. Electronics are Garmin: dual GPSMAP 1243xsv displays with a B60 transducer and a B175M transducer upgrade, plus a Garmin VHF 215 AIS and an NMEA 2000 package with engine data and audio interface. A 36-volt Minn Kota Riptide Terrova Quest trolling motor with triple charger lets you work a shoreline quietly. A Lenco auto trim tab kit and a V700 windlass system with helm and bow switches make the boat easier to run and anchor, especially short-handed.

Comfort is built in as well. The console has a forward seat, a lockable glovebox, and a gravity-discharge porcelain head with a 6.5-gallon holding tank.
