With a maximum rating of 700 horsepower, typically achieved with twin engines, it delivers brisk acceleration and cruising speeds in the 30 to 40 mph range. Top speeds can exceed 50 mph depending on the engine configuration. The 280-gallon fuel capacity gives a likely cruising range of 250 to 300 miles, so you can reach the offshore grounds and make the run home without constantly watching the gauge.

The R300 is also a boat the whole family can enjoy. It's rated for up to 12 passengers, with ample seating and standing room for fishing trips with friends, family days on the water, and leisure cruising. With a 24-inch draft, it can reach many of the shallower areas around Southwest Florida. As with any boat this size, you'll want to pay attention in the very shallowest flats. Its wide beam also makes it manageable to trailer with appropriate equipment.
