The Chaparral 250 Suncoast and 230 Suncoast will be out soon!! It’s still top-secret information, but earlier today we got to take a look at design drawings and preliminary specifications for the first two models they will offer with Yamaha Outboards. They are definitely after Hurricane on this one folks! The 25′ Outboard Deckboat will directly target the Hurricane 2400 O/B and 2690 O/B. Compared to the others on the market, they will definitely offer a superior hull design. Its extended running surface with will be a BIG upgrade versus competition (similar to the Extended V-Plane hull on the Robalo Cayman). The swimming platform and ease of entry into the boat is another huge positive feature! The extended running surface gives you that extra space to offer a swim platform so you can walk around the engine with ease. It makes the aft section of the boat more usable and safe.

We’ve already had folks coming into the store and expressing how they can’t wait for another offering in the Outboard Deckboat category so they don’t have to just settle on a Hurricane.
