April 7th: 20th Annual Bobby Holloway Jr Memorial Fishing Tournament
All proceeds from this tournament will go to Bobby Holloway Jr. Memorial Fund was started to
provide enrichment for local youth activity in education, sports, arts, and more in the Pine
Island community. It will be held on Saturday, April 7th starting at 7:30 am at Pineland Marina.
Prior to the tournament, all anglers must sign and submit a mandatory waiver and pay a $350
check in fee. The Pine Island Big Snook Award winner will be awarded $2500 for many other

April 6th-7th: Flatmasters Junior Fishing Tournament
Flatmasters annual Junior Tournament for young fishermen will be held the first weekend in
April. All young anglers must be accompanied by an adult companion 18 years or older. The
event is divided into three divisions – Minnow (ages 7-10), Junior (ages 11-15), and prep (ages
16-17). There is a $100 entry fee. The tournament will start at 6:30 AM on Laishley Park Pavilion
in Punta Gorda. A custom trophy and a custom reaper rod personalized with your name will be
awarded to the grand champion!
April 13th & 14th: Flatmasters 10th Annual Hooked on Habitat Redfish Tournament
First place wins up to $2500 at this annual Redfish Tournament benefitting Habitat for
Humanity. The fun starts Friday night with a Capitan’s Dinner by Peace River Seafood and the
tournament will start at 6:30 AM on Saturday at Laishley Park pier in Punta Gorda. The entry
fee is $350 per boat with 3 Anglers per team. Register by April 6th to save $20!

April 16th: 20th Annual LCEC United Way Fishing Tournament
On April 16th, LCEC will host the 20th Annual United Way Fishing Tournament, which features
great fishing, delicious food, and prizes. It will be held in Pine Island Sound, Charlotte Harbor
, and surrounding waters. All participants will receive a t-shirt and BBQ meal! The cost per
