We have encouraged our customers to take advantage of getting out on the water cruising, fishing, and enjoying the beautiful spring weather while practicing social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Luckily, boat ramps, fuel docks, and marine businesses are remaining open while many other businesses are being shut down due to government regulations. To ensure that lawmakers do not restrict these activities, we have to be responsible as a boating community and take precautions to be safe and practice social distancing on the water so we are able to continue boating.
There are a few steps we should take to be responsible boaters:
- Don’t raft up with other boats
- Don’t congregate on sandbars or beaches
- Limit passengers to members of your household
