Join us for lunch on the water at Slipaway Marina the premier food truck park and marina on the Caloosahatchee River in Cape Coral. Slipaway serves up a unique outdoor dining experience with boating services, special events and more and we think it's a great place to kick-off the 2026-2027 Fish Tale Boat Club Season.

Join us as we head to beautiful Pelican Bay on the eastern side of Cayo Costa. There is a sandy peninsular beach at the northern pass that will work well. This calm, protected spot offers ample space to anchor, beach or raft-up. Bring your gear for a beach grill-out and a day of swimming.

This month we welcome guest speakers Capt. Alex Dolinski and Capt. Greg Stamper, two knowledgeable local fishing guides featured on the Saturday morning radio program Reel Talk. They will discuss backwater, nearshore, and offshore fishing and tackle for the upcoming summer season, and will answer member questions.

A south-bound cruise through Naples and Marco Island waters. We start at the standard meeting point near Sanibel/Punta Rassa at 9 AM, then navigate through Gordon Pass, Port Royale, and Naples Bay before heading toward Marco Island via the ICW. The route includes cruising the northern side of Marco between Jolly Bridge and Coconut Island. Bring your own lunch — many waterfront spots have fewer dock spaces than our group needs. Approximately 100 miles round trip.

Join us for a cruise to the historic Cabbage Key Restaurant, located on a private island accessible only by water. Home to the famous 'dollar bill bar' with its distinctive signed-dollar-bill-adorned walls. We cruise north on the Intracoastal Waterway for a scenic route arriving before the lunch rush. Space is limited.

Join us for an evening of good food, great drinks, and live music at Bonita Bay Marina. Complimentary beer, wine, and appetizers will be served from Backwater Jack's Restaurant. Live music entertainment included. Just tell the gate staff you're attending the boat show — no advance registration necessary.

This month we welcome Tim Brewer, Yamaha Service Manager and Master Technician, as our guest speaker. He will present on Yamaha engine maintenance along with general boat maintenance topics, which offer valuable insights for boaters of all experience levels.

This Rendezvous was cancelled due to weather. The planned event was a boat gathering to visit the historic Cabbage Key Restaurant on a private island off Pine Island. Participants would cruise north on the Intracoastal Waterway, arriving before the lunch rush. The destination features the famous 'dollar bill bar' with signed currency adorning the walls.

This month we welcome the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary as our guest speaker, sharing insights on boating safety and water best practices. We will review upcoming events with time for member questions and discussion. Appetizers and beverages available starting at 5:30 PM, with the formal meeting beginning at 6:00 PM.

A waterfront lunch excursion to Slipaway Marina and Food Truck Park. Meet at Punta Rassa Green Marker 1 near Sanibel Causeway with planned arrival at the venue by 11 AM and leaving by 1 PM. The venue is at Green Marker 83 on the Caloosahatchee River. Based on participation, we may announce earlier groups coming from the north and south.

Join us for our monthly gathering beginning at 6 PM with a cocktail hour commencing 30 minutes prior. Enjoy informational talks hosted by local fishing professionals, with specific topics to be announced nearer to the event date.
