Trailer Description
The Magic Tilt TALS2682 is a tandem-axle aluminum trailer from the ALS adjustable series, built for boats 24 to 26 feet long with an 8,200 pound net carrying capacity - a popular pairing for offshore center consoles and walkaround cuddy boats in that class. The trailer measures approximately 29 feet overall, weighs around 880 pounds empty (about 9,080 pounds GVWR), and rides on twin galvanized axles with ST225/75-15 Load Range D tires. Construction is Magic Tilt's saltwater-oriented aluminum I-beam frame with aluminum deep-V cross members, galvanized axles and tongue, and stainless steel hardware. As an ALS bolt-together adjustable model, the undercarriage, bunks and winch stand can be repositioned to fit a different hull, which makes it a flexible used-market and repower-friendly trailer. Standard ALS-series equipment includes carpeted bunks, load-bearing aluminum fenders, stainless steel bearing protectors with spindle seals, submersible LED lighting with fully grounded wiring, a tongue jack, heavy-duty winch stand with strap and bow-eye safety chain, PVC-covered galvanized upright guide poles and non-marking bow stop rollers. Disc brakes and torsion axles are common upgrades on trailers of this capacity. In Magic Tilt's current catalog this size/capacity slot is filled by the TALS2686.
