ALS1617

The Magic Tilt ALS1617 is the smallest model in the company's ALS adjustable aluminum single-axle series, built in Clearwater, Florida for boats in the 14 to 16 foot range such as jon boats, skiffs and small runabouts. The trailer measures roughly 17 feet 6 inches long and 7 feet 9 inches wide, weighs about 400 pounds, and carries a net load of 1,700 pounds on a single galvanized axle with 13-inch tires. Like all ALS-series trailers, the ALS1617 uses a corrosion-resistant aluminum I-beam frame with deep-V cross members and a fully adjustable bolt-together undercarriage, so the bunks, winch stand and axle position can be reconfigured to fit a different hull if the owner changes boats. Standard equipment includes carpeted bunks, load-bearing aluminum fenders, stainless steel bearing protectors with spindle seals, submersible LED lighting with fully grounded wiring, a tongue jack, a heavy-duty winch stand with strap and bow-eye safety chain, PVC-covered galvanized upright guide poles, and non-marking bow stop rollers. It is the one ALS model that does not include the series' heavy-duty adjustable keel pad on the front cross member. A simple, light and saltwater-friendly trailer for small outboard boats.
