Trailer Description
The Coyote C223VR is the dealer code for the Coyote MFG Co factory-matched trailer for the Chaparral Vortex 223 VR/VRX jet boat — the same trailer as the C223 entry, with the VR suffix simply spelling out the Vortex VR trim. Built to carry the 22'4" Vortex hull and comparable 21-23 ft boats, it features hull-matched bunks, torsion axles, disc brakes, a swing-away tongue for garage storage, truly submersible LED lights with internally routed, loom-wrapped wiring, and galvanized wheels with optional aluminum rims. The standard Chaparral-line version is G90 galvanized steel inside and out with a black powder-coated finish and custom Vortex graphics; the upgraded version is Coyote's hand-welded aluminum with a 5/16 in. I-beam, suited to fresh and salt water. Reference capacity for Coyote's 21-23 ft tandem trailers is approximately 7,040 lb GVWR / 6,020 lb carrying capacity.
