Trailer Description
The Coyote C21SSI is the factory-matched trailer built by Coyote MFG Co for the Chaparral 21 SSi and 21 SSi OB bowriders (21'-21'6" LOA). Current Chaparral dealer listings describe the standard package trailer as a Coyote black powder-coated tandem-axle trailer with brakes, aluminum wheels, and a swing-away tongue, engineered specifically to fit the 21 SSi hull. Wiring is run internally and loom-wrapped, lighting is truly submersible LED, and torsion axles provide the suspension. A directly comparable 2022 Coyote tandem torsion-axle trailer for 21-23 ft boats was rated at 7,040 lb GVWR with 6,020 lb carrying capacity and included brakes on both axles, a 2-speed winch, guide poles, and a spare tire. Galvanized wheels were standard on earlier packages with aluminum wheels as the upgrade; Coyote's hand-welded 5/16 in. aluminum I-beam frame is used on the ALUM version, with G90 galvanized powder-coated steel on the base version.
