The Yamaha F2.5SMHB is the lightest outboard in Yamaha's lineup, tipping the scales at just 37 pounds - easy for one person to carry, mount and stow. Its 72cc single-cylinder OHV four-stroke sips fuel from a built-in 0.24-gallon internal tank, so there is no external tank or hose to manage, and the simple carbureted induction with a manual pull start means dependable starts every time. Tiller steering with twist-grip throttle keeps operation intuitive, while 360-degree steering makes docking simple. Built-in carry handles, resting pads and an oil-leak prevention system allow true on-side storage in a trunk or lazarette. A generous tilt range with shallow-water capability protects the lower unit near the bank. It is the ideal power source for dinghies, inflatables, jon boats and canoes, and it ships with a 3-blade aluminum propeller and Yamaha's 3-year limited warranty.
