Description

The Yamaha F150XD is the newest D-generation of Yamaha's best-selling 150-hp In-Line Four, introduced for the 2025 model year with a sharper, redesigned cowling engineered for enhanced airflow and rugged durability. This 25-inch X-long shaft, remote mechanical model retains the proven 2.7-liter DOHC 16-valve inline four-cylinder powerhead with Electronic Fuel Injection, producing 150 horsepower across a 5000-6000 rpm full-throttle range on economical regular fuel. The biggest news in the D series is integration: mechanical F150s now come with a factory-integrated hydraulic steering cylinder (digital DEC versions get integrated electro-hydraulic steering), making rigging cleaner, the transom less cluttered, and the boat more responsive than ever. Electric start and power trim and tilt are standard, the 35-amp alternator keeps batteries topped, and Yamaha conveniences carry over, including variable trolling RPM in 50-rpm increments with a compatible Yamaha digital gauge, a freshwater flush device, and the Shift Dampener System for quiet, smooth gear changes. Ideal for offshore center consoles, deep-V hulls, and pontoons with 25-inch transoms, the F150XD blends two decades of F150 reliability with Yamaha's most modern styling and integrated-steering technology, all backed by a limited 3-year pleasure-boat warranty.
