Fish Tales picked my boat up at my dock...no charge for moving it to their lot; no silly extra charges for "inspection" or " special maintenance" (another company wanted $695 for inspection and $3100 for an oil change, even though I had service records from a certified Yamaha mechanic showing an oil change on both engines just 35 hours ago...because it was their " policy".) Josh was great to work with. He came off as knowlegable and trustworthy. Good communication and follow up and did not try to talk me down from my price. Sold my boat above my bottom price inside a month. I would use Fish Tales Boats to sell my boat again in a heartbeat.”

“I purchased my Robalo Cayman 206 boat in March of 2023 from Ben Newcomb at Fish Tale Boats in Fort Myers, Florida. Eric Riley of Customer Relations at the dealership had their delivery specialist, Jeff Brueckner, take me out on a sea trial to explain how to launch and load safely, and how to locate and operate every switch and accessory in the boat. I used the boat several times after that and then developed some issues that were warranty issues. I called Eric Riley and he had Jeff Brueckner come to my home and assess each issue. My boat was nearly due for the 20 hour first service and so Eric suggested scheduling a service appointment to get all things addressed at the same time. A few days later I arrived at the dealership at my scheduled time and was promptly greeted by Service Advisor, Nick Segin. Nick went over every single item with me, explained that Eric had already ordered the parts I needed persuant to Jeff's assessment, and they were already at the dealership with my name on them. Nick advised me of the time he felt it would take to complete the job. I left the boat with them. I received a phone call from Eric and he told me my boat was ready to go. This was earlier than promised, so I was very happy about that. When I arrived, every issue on my list was completed. Eric and Jeff arranged a time that was convenient for me to have Jeff meet me at the marina and ride with me and assure every warranty issue was completed to my satisfaction and working properly. “I purchased a used 2018 Robalo R247 from Fish Tale Boats. I live in NC so making a boat purchase from a long distance is not an easy thing to do. I worked with David Melvin and the entire experience was great. We made a contingent offer over the phone contingent on a physical inspection and David held the boat for me until I arrived a few days later (this was not the case with a different dealer in GA). Upon arrival David did a thorough walkthrough of the boat and had already made arrangements for a sea trial without asking. David pointed out a few repairs that were needed and I found two more.
