Garmin Marine Electronics
Fish Tale Boats is your Southwest Florida source for Garmin marine electronics — bought, rigged, and installed by certified technicians in Fort Myers, Naples, and Bonita Springs.
From a single chartplotter upgrade to a full glass-bridge build with LiveScope, radar, and autopilot, Garmin makes some of the most capable marine electronics on the water — and a great system is only as good as the install behind it. As a Southwest Florida dealer with a 14,000-square-foot service center and a team of 15+ certified technicians, we sell Garmin electronics and rig them the right way, so everything talks to everything and works the day you splash.

What We Sell & Install
Chartplotters — ECHOMAP & GPSMAP
Bright, touchscreen navigation with preloaded SWFL charts, sonar, and connectivity from compact helms to full glass bridges.
LiveScope & Sonar
Garmin Panoptix LiveScope and traditional/CHIRP sonar — see fish and structure in real time, dialed in for our flats, passes, and offshore.
Marine Radar
Stay safe in fog, rain, and after dark. Garmin radar domes and open arrays integrated cleanly into your chartplotter.
Professional Installation
Anyone can sell you a box. The difference is in the rigging — clean wiring, the right transducer, a properly built NMEA network, and a system that's tested on the water before you take it home. Our certified marine techs do this every day, on every kind of boat in Southwest Florida. Bought your Garmin elsewhere? We'll install that too.
Every install includes
- Helm layout & system design for your boat and how you use it
- Flush- and bracket-mount displays, clean cable routing
- Transducer selection & installation (thru-hull, transom, in-hull)
- NMEA 2000 networks, sensors & engine-data integration
- Radar, autopilot & antenna mounting and calibration

Garmin Installation FAQ
Do you install Garmin units I bought somewhere else?
Yes. While we'd love to earn your purchase, our shop installs customer-supplied Garmin electronics too — and we'll tell you up front if anything you have won't play nicely with the rest of your helm.
How much does marine electronics installation cost?
It depends on the system — a single chartplotter swap is straightforward, while a full multi-display network with radar, LiveScope, and autopilot is a bigger job. Bring us your boat and your goals and we'll give you a clear, itemized estimate before any work begins.
How long does an install take?
Simple display upgrades are often a day; full helm builds with networking, radar, and autopilot take longer and are scheduled in advance. We'll give you a realistic timeline with your estimate.
Which boats and brands do you work on?
All of them — not just the boats we sell. Our 14,000 sq ft Fort Myers service center handles Garmin installs on Grady-White, Robalo, Chaparral, Premier, and any other make running through Southwest Florida.
