Overview

The 2027 Robalo R237 DC is a 23-foot dual console built for Southwest Florida's mix of fishing days, family cruises and sandbar afternoons. If you want one boat that can run a grass flat at sunrise, carry the whole family to Cayo Costa by lunch and still handle a few miles of Gulf chop, the R237 is a strong place to start. Built for inshore and nearshore water

At 23 feet long with a beam of 8 feet 6 inches, the R237 is sized for the water most local boaters actually use. Its draft is 17 inches, so it can reach many of the shallow areas around Charlotte Harbor, Pine Island Sound and the backcountry edges of the Ten Thousand Islands. The fiberglass hull uses Robalo's Hydro Lift multi-angle design, with a Kevlar-reinforced hull and a full fiberglass structural system. It is meant to handle the short, steep chop that builds on a breezy afternoon. It is an inshore and nearshore boat, a good fit for the bays, passes and near-coastal Gulf. For long runs far offshore, a larger hull is the better tool.

A cockpit that fishes

Anglers get a 40-gallon insulated aft fish box with an overboard drain and discharge pump, plus an 18-gallon livewell in the full transom seat. A 10-gallon insulated cooler in the bow keeps drinks or bait cold. The bow casting platform gives you an elevated spot to work a shoreline. Stainless steel rod holders are mounted in the gunnels, and this unit adds two more drink/rod holders. The self-bailing cockpit has integrated drain fittings, and the raw water washdown makes cleanup easy after a day on the water. Trim tabs with an indicator switch help you set the running attitude in a headwind.

A dual console that welcomes the family

The dual console layout puts a walk-through bow door and a protected passenger seat up front. The port seat is a reversible Oasis lounge that folds forward to give you an aft-facing seat. The bow casting platform converts to U-shaped seating with removable cushions, so the front of the boat becomes a social space at anchor. An enclosed head compartment with a lockable fiberglass door adds privacy and convenience on longer days. The premium sound system has a Bluetooth head unit, helm remote, Sirius satellite tuner and four JL Audio speakers with blue LED lighting. The boat is rated for up to 12 passengers.

This R237 is specified with a Yamaha Four Stroke F250XB 250 HP outboard with a 25-inch shaft. The hull sides are Ice Blue over a Harbor Ice Blue cockpit interior, and a white powder-coated hardtop with an Ice Blue underside adds shade for those long Florida summer days.
