Description

The Yamaha LF300XCB is the counter-rotation version of the V6 4.2-liter Offshore F300 with Digital Electronic Controls and a 25-inch shaft - the essential partner to the F300XCB in twin and quad installations. By spinning its propeller in the opposite direction, the LF300XCB cancels steering torque and prop walk, giving multi-engine offshore boats straight tracking, balanced helm feel and superior low-speed maneuverability. Mechanically it is identical to its standard-rotation sibling: a 4169cc plasma-fused sleeveless V6 with DOHC 24-valve heads, Variable Camshaft Timing, EFI and 10.3:1 compression, producing 300 hp at 5500 rpm while weighing just 562 pounds. The B-series adds the fresh cowling styling, TotalTilt and Thrust Enhancing Reverse Exhaust for powerful, precise backing-down performance. Drive-by-wire controls, Helm Master EX compatibility and up to 70 amps of charging round out a package with Yamaha's famed V6 reliability. Pair it with an F300XCB and run offshore with confidence.
