About the Fisherman 216
The Fisherman 216 splits the difference between a backwater skiff and a capable offshore fishing machine, measuring 21 feet, 6 inches with an 8-foot, 6-inch beam and a 19-degree deadrise SeaV2 hull. An 80-gallon fuel tank means you can run comfortably to nearshore structure and back without worrying about the gauge, and optional 10-gallon freshwater adds convenience for a full day on the water. Dry weight is 3,360 pounds, and a maximum rating of 300 HP gives plenty of flexibility when rigging with larger four-stroke outboards for speed and efficiency. Up to 8 persons can fish or cruise aboard comfortably. The 16-inch draft keeps Southwest Florida's backcountry grass flats accessible when the bite is inshore, while the SeaV2 hull handles the chop on the way out to Naples' nearshore reefs without drama. Grady-White builds every Fisherman 216 to the same rigorous standards as their larger offshore boats — the attention to fiberglass layup, hardware selection, and finish quality is the same regardless of size. Fish Tale Boats carries the Fisherman 216 at our Fort Myers and Bonita Springs locations.
